Hello, my name is Neal, I'm new to RVing, again, and forgot to disconnect water before an overnight deep freeze. Knock knock knock...I don't know if you know but your water filter is busted and spraying water....thanks Mr. neighbor, I'm Neal, the newbie.

So yeah, thankfully it's just one of those blue pre-filters but this is what ice does. Thankfully the Newmar wet bay is heated so I retracted the frozen water line and will let it thaw. Sewer hose is connected so we'll see how that works but may have to bring that in too, probably should, reach for motivation.

Some days just dont cooperate do they. At least it was the least expensive piece of the system to replace.

All lines are in as they should be. Sani-con hose was a bit frosty. All good now. Fresh tank full.

Anna and Elsa can have this crap. I don’t like cold.

Currently 4 F… Oasis is humming ( and gallantly burning diesel)…heated hose is working… sewer hose is staying warm so that it might be pliable when I need to dump. Battery bay is reading -8 C.

No knocks on the door yet.

I do have my Autosocks, may need it to get out of Raleigh Friday. 2 inches of snow last night. I keep these in the basement, hope to never need them, used them once, may need them again.

Heated water hose...it may be time to get one! I don't know why I don't have one!

I still messed up. Hooked my heated hose up to the watts regulator and had that hanging out of the bay. B/C if the end of the hose isn’t exposed to cold,,,the heater doesn’t turn ON. (Learned the hard way). This time…the watts regulator froze…so I took it off, and everything is working again. Pretty impressed with that thing. Have heat strips on the hydrant with an insulated bag over it…. Left the water softener at home.

We do love our heated hose!!! (When deployed properly)
