We've towed a Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk and a Ram 1500. Both were 4wd. Both were excellent. We literally couldn't tell they were back there. We use a Blue Ox tow bar and an Air Force One auxiliary braking system.

My only toads have been a 2012 Chevy Equinox AWD and now a 2021 Chevy Trailblazer AWD. In each case, I've used Blue ox baseplates and towbars. I am also a proponent of using the hitch stabilizers to prevent the slop in the square receiver hitches from allowing side-to-side movement that translates to the towed vehicle moving around. I'm using the RVI3Brake and TirePatrol TPMS. I have had no complaints about either vehicle and each have towed without issues. Trouble-free and cannot tell they are back there.

If only we could have the new Suzuki Jimney best toad ever and tough as a nail. I thought I was going to buy a new one until I realized not sold in America any more.
