???? With valves closed, it does not, nor should it, drain.
I strongly suspect that that clear tube swivels downward for the actual draining.

The drain valve in my Allegro Red swivels.

Newbie to the Class A world, yes indeed it swivels. I assume the orings need a periodic application of lube?

Makes no difference in the operation of the valves or draining
