I think when something goes wrong such as a code on the dash we tend to think of going to a chassis service center such as Freightliner, Spartan, etc. However, an often overlooked yet possibly a better option is going to Cummins. They have great service centers, many cater to RV's and I've been a few times and it was the right decision and great service. I bring this up as we need to evaluate what the codes are that are shown and not forget that another option is the engine service center when in fact your codes are engine related.

If you have a "decision tree" as to when you go to one vs the other, please share.

Having recently visited a Cummins service shop in Orlando, they appear very competent and Diesel Truck pricing ($$$). IF you have an engine issue, I would recommend Cummins Service. They have the most recent MFG information, training, and parts.
For other issues with Chassis or House you should seek the respective specialists.
After our Cummins visit, we arranged a Trip to Spartan and Nappanee. Spartan for annual Chassis service, Nappanee for the House.
Granted I have a phobia about the DS sitting in a dealer parking lot waiting endlessly for parts and a time slot for what I view as expensive service that can be average at best.
We are lucky to have a dealer in Orlando that is very competent, your mileage my vary.
Still in an effort to be efficient with time and quality service, we like MFG shop and techs for service. DS systems are too complicated for the average service tech to keep up with all the requirements.
And the inevitably last minute discoveries can be adequately addressed without, hopefully, a return trip.
