I drive a 26-ft Class C motorhome. I really like not having to tow a trailer, but of course the trade-off is that I don't have a vehicle for side trips into town or whatever. I have on occasion rented a car near my destination, but that's an added hassle and expense. I have found that in some towns and cities I can find a place to park my rig, but not always. Does anyone know of any kind of guide to assist with finding parking when visiting a particular town or city?

Many people use Google earth to see the layout and/or approach to a destination before committing. Just punch in an address.

Most every small town in America has a Walmart, most of them, excepting local ordinances in which case it's likely posted, don't care if you park out on the perimeter of the lot for one overnighter.
