On my last trip I had two strange things happen, one explained one not. The first one was DW & I were getting ready for bed. So I took the doggie outside for her last break, when I came back in I turned off the center TV. It went off and went down into its home, it's a teleavator . Is that even a word?

Just as I was dozing off to sleep the wife jabs me in the ribs and says I hear voices outside, someone is outside the coach. Now we are in the middle of a farm Harvest Host site, with absolutely no one around. I scramble from bed and find my pants. I can't hear crap because I don't have my hearing aids in. LOL it sucks getting old. Well pants on, hearing aids in, I figure I better have some company with me so I grab my CZ-P10 9MM from inside the night stand, with light and suppressor to keep me company.

As I walk past the dining area figuring out how am I going to open the door and check it out, and do I turn on the outside lights, I hear a voice saying and now we are coming in, I am thinking what the heck is going on. Then it finally dawns on me the damn TV is ON in the bottom of the teleavator.

It was off when I sent it down the hole...LOL I must of hit the remote on button when I was putting it away. So the TV lived for another season. I have another one that I still can't explain, I will post a little later.

Who remembers, you are moving between a place of sight & sound, you are in another dimension , you are now entering the Twilight Zone.......

Curious why do you lower the televator because you are going to bed? I leave mine up until I am hitting the road.
BTW it did happen to me once, I thought I turned it off and sent the televator down and went back to prep, came forward 5 minutes later and I could hear the voices

We were leaving early next morning, so I was just getting a jump on getting ready to leave. I left once with the darn thing up and didn't know until I stopped for the night.

That made me snort. That's exactly something I would do, except when I did it, it was the outside TV that we could hear inside.

Ok here is another one. On our last stop at Harvest Host I had to pull into a pull through site at the bottom of the property. It was pretty level with just a little bump coming into the site, nothing really noticeable.

After dinner my wife went to the bedroom to get something out of the closet. She called for me and said she couldn't get the closet door opened. She has severe rheumatoid arthritis so I figured it was just her. When I tried her door it was somehow stuck. So I went to my side and opened the door. What I saw I couldn't believe my eyes.

We had about 30 pieces of hanging clothes on hangers in the closet. I had multiple T shirts, Jackets, and a few hoodies. Not to mention we had two or three table cloths for picnic tables also on hangers. My wife had just as many items or more than I did, all on hangers.

EVERY single hanger some how fell off or jumped off the hanger rack and was laying on the closet floor. Every single one. The bar was in place and in solid position. The only thing I can think of was we were leaving a rest stop on the way home, and there was a very steep dip in the road coming out??? But it was so bizarre to open up the closet and see all our clothes on the floor.

This ever happen to someone else? Twenty years of RVing I never saw this before.

It has happened several times, but it's a deep in the road rather than a bump. I installed a shower rod over the top of the clothes rods to keep the hangers from coming up. When we get to our stop or need to remove a hanger, we remove the shower rod. Don't forget to replace it, or you'll have jumping clothes again.

Wow I never saw that before. But that is a great idea about the shower rod. But you are correct it was a very steep dip in the road that did it. Travel and learn....LOL

I once went across the country and back and nothing broke. That’s pretty weird.
