Where were you with your Marathon Coach today?

Clark county shooting center Las Vegas, NV. These are full hook up rv spots at a gun range that sits above Las Vegas that is a great overnight stop driving north or south on the I 15. There are no amenities except for a bathroom at the shotgun center when it is open. internet works well up here and the the access road is gated that requires a gate code and a manned booth that you have get past to get to the rv spots so it’s very safe. The view of the strip at night is quite spectacular.

We are parked far from the cascade of gunfire.

I am going to add a negative comment to my initial review of this park. If you don’t like dust sand and dirt on your coach or toad don’t stay here. The wind blows constantly and they were doing some earth moving operation at night north of the park and the next morning my coach and toad were covered. Otherwise it’s fine but it important to point out the caveat.

a nice overnight park right off highway 58 that runs east west from barstow to Bakersfield. Gravel dirt pads and decent access roads.

We are at pacific shores motorcoach on the Oregon coast in Newport, OR. It’s a nice ownership park with some beautiful views of the ocean. There is beach access and walking on the beach is really “good for the soul”. If you are traveling near the coast on the 101 it’s definitely worth a stop.

Always enjoy Pacific Shores. Been many times and hope for many more. Hope you two have a great stay.

Cascades rv resort in Sultan, Washington. This is a great park. It’s brand new and the scenery of the mountains is unreal. A little bit of out of town heading east from Seattle. The camp host is a super nice guy and he was very accommodating when we arrived late.

We moved to the suburbs of Seattle today in Bothnell, WA at Lake Pleasant RV Park for the Marathon rally. There are about 30 Marathons here and some incredible looking coaches. Nice group of owners too. We have a week of fun activities planned and since this is our first ever rally of any kind, we will get to see what this is all about.
