I hope I win the lottery so I can have a Newell 😀. I love this thread seeing all these beautiful coaches.

Keep on the watch…what’s so great about a Newell is that their quality will make for a very sound and beautiful coach for decades. Adn, I’m general, they tend to be very well maintained and cared for.

This gives you a wide spectrum of coaches to select from, that will hopefully meet your price range.

One year later…closed up Blackwell Island RV Resort in Coeur D’Alene.
Love this time of year cuz it‘s so much quieter…um…aside from the first few days in which we were among a full park of Grand Designs Rally-Goers!

All sites are gravel, level, nicely spaced and have good hookups. Great staff always.

Had a good stay with a large group for the Texas Eclipse! Found a really nice, fresh, and BIG resort called Stone Oak RV Ranch in Georgetown, TX. Lots of wide open spaces, and more to come as they're under construction for the second phase. Super nice clubhouse facilities as well as a full appointed office and camp store.
The staff is attentive and really keep on top of things.
The resort is out of the way, in terms of normal west/east routes, but going through the hill country is a welcomed pleasure!

A small little, no frills, spot to rest along I-40, called Sky City RV, in Acomita New Mexico. Ya gotta be on your toes when you get off the freeway, cuz check-in is AT THE CASINO/HOTEL LOBBY! You can "call in" for a reservation, but ya gotta "go in" to pay...and it'll probably be one of the cheapest places ya stay too.

It's all gravel, bland park, but the nice dessert-style views of sunrise/sunset make up for it.

Thanks for the updates, CaptainGizmo. I've been MIA a bit lately . . . sorry about that. Just lazy.
We're currently in Grand Junction, CO at the Canyon View RV Resort. Very nice park. Very well spaced sites, each with concrete and grass, all level. Young park, so the trees are pretty young, but it's definitely a 5-star resort with just about any amenity you could want - pool, spa, pickle-ball, playgrounds, etc. We'll be back.

It's been a great visit, but we head out later this week for Pagosa Springs, CO, where we'll be for the next few months. While in Pagosa Springs, we stay at Wolf Creek Run RV Resort, which is a beautiful Class A resort, right on the San Juan River. I'll post when we get there, along with some comments about the RV Park and the city.

My best to all!! Ed and Cathie
