Geneseo Campground, Geneseo IL. Nice little campground that shows pride of ownership by the young couple who own and operate it.

Another overnighter, this time at Mitchell KOA in Mitchell, SD. The first line in the “General Info” section of their guest services guide reads, “THIS CAMPGROUND IS NOT A GUN-FREE ZONE” Another gem: “Everyone brings joy to this campground. Some when they get here, some when they leave.”

I so love the Midwest and its people. Flyover country my ass.

Lake Jasper in Hardeeville SC for a 2 night stay before Myrtle Beach. Nice back in lakeside sites with cable, good Verizon signal, and somewhat cooler temps than Fl.

North Myrtle Beach RV Resort for 3 nights. I should have my head examined for picking this site. Facing the "Flow Rider" complete with 10,000 watt PA blasting out your favorite dance music.... At least it stops at 5. Other than that, some nice views and lots of stuff for kids, who make up at least 50% of the population here. Good Verizon signal, good cable, water, etc. Level concrete site. A little pricey tho.

Billings KOA. I was at the point of swearing off KOAs for future journeys, then this one comes along.

None of the CGs we’ve stayed at on this trip have allowed washing motorhomes. OCD is going into overdrive.

Raleigh Oaks RV in Four Oaks NC. Funny, not an oak tree in sight (not many other trees either).
Sun on living side all day making for a very hot, AC testing stay. Two pools make it bearable. Heading to Williamsburg VA Tuesday hoping for cooler temps.

American Herritage RV in Williamsburg VA for 6 nights. Level site and SHADE plus cooler temps. Lots to see in the area.

White Acres CG just west of Bardstown Ky on the Blue Grass Parkway. Shady, quiet, 50amp pull thru sites - perfect for a nightly stop over or a base camp for local atractions.

We had a Newmar "Virginia Wheels" Chapter Rally at American Heritage RV Park, May 11-16th.
They were very accommodating, and we enjoyed the Park! Nice & clean!

Yup, we were here 5 years ago for our sons graduation from Coast Guard A School. It's changed a bit but still a very nice park.
