Ruby’s Rv, Bryce Canyon Utah.
If you’ve never been I suggest adding it to your bucket list. Some of the most amazing sights ever.

I've been to Bryce Canyon numerous times. One of the Big Five National Parks in Utah. Agreed, a must see National Park!!!

Where I currently am in Holbrook, AZ the Petrified Forest National Park is just down the road. I've been by it countless times but today was my first visit.

NKK Balloon Fiesta Albuquerque, New Mexico

Today I drove I-40 from Holbrook, AZ to Albuquerque, NM to attend the NKK Balloon Fiesta. I-40 is one of, if not, the most heavily travelled Interstate by truckers. I believe it's busier than I-80... :unsure:The Interstate is heavily littered with "road alligators." Large pieces of truck tires are all over the shoulders and on the road. Truckers and trucking companies saving dollars by using retread tires... 🤬

I arrived a day early for the Balloon Fiesta, and like last year, the NKK group is on the front row in the VIP North Lot adjacent to Balloon Fiesta Park. A short walk to the field where you can be up close and personal with the balloonists. You are within arm's length from watching them set up the balloons and take flight. If you don't want to go to the launch field you can sit outside of your coach and watch them fly over.

There are only a few of us Newmar early bird arrivals as tomorrow is the "official" arrival day... ;) I believe there are 30 Newmar coaches attending both sessions. This is a dry camping/boon docking event so all of our generators are running our AC units as it is hot. I'm relieved that this year my contiguous neighbor has an exhaust stack, as do I, because last year my inconsiderate Newmar neighbor did not... 🤬

No Plan, I am like your last year neighbor, I don't have an exhaust stack. I have never even seen one. Is it something you put together, or is a package you purchased somewhere? I see a support at your window level. How is it secured?

Some events, like football tailgates and NASCAR races, require generator exhaust stacks. Although not required at the Balloon Fiesta, they are "highly recommended." A lot of generator exhaust pipes are located where the exhaust fumes, from your neighbor, are directed right at you front door. Having those exhaust fumes blown into your coach is annoying. Additionally, it's quieter and the heat that flows out from under your coach is greatly reduced. There are a number of exhaust stacks offered, I have the Gen-Tur, and it appears to be the most popular from my observation.

The exhaust stack is self-supporting and secured with rubber straps on the exhaust stack and 2 suction cups attached to the side of your coach. However, what you point out was my MacGyver fix with a small cardboard box and duct/duck tape because one of my suction cups grew legs after I last used my exhaust stack boon docking out on the Bonneville Salt Flats... :ROFLMAO:

So, if you are going to be in a group setting and running your generator, be a good neighbor... ;)(y)

Some people use dryer vents as well to carry it forward of the coach.

We can start a new thread on GEN exhaust diverters if further discussion needed.

Resume gorgeous pics of where you were with your Newmar today... :)
