Minooka Park in Jemison Alabama for 4 nights. Last camper at our site must have taken off with the water line attached and broke the line underground so they are repairing it now. Went to get smoked "pig wings" for lunch at Tin Top BBQ which are yummy! Apparently they are part of the shoulder of the pig and are very tender. Headed to Sevierville on Sunday. Having so much fun here I forgot to post! Two Rivers Landing "Signature Site" for 9 nights. Beautiful weather and hot rods showing up early for the rod run in Pigeon Forge. Onward to Deer Springs next!

We discovered pig wings several years ago at a meat market in OKC. You can buy them online now in 5# bags. They usually are 3 ounce or 5 ounce portions. You are correct in that it is a cut out of the front shoulder. They are freeze dried and make the meat shrink back from the bone and make the "wing".

At Thousand Trails Gettysburg Farm, absolutely beautiful park. Wide sites. Corn fields, horses, goats, turkeys, pigs. Well kept, spotless park

Sevier River RV Park, Sevier UT. Large sites, no OTA TV, no WiFi, cell ok, no problem, lots of open sites

Deer Springs for 12 nights. Beautiful serenity here although the owner can be cantankerous at times No cell service or OATV , but thankfully the same owner supplies Starlink for light browsing and television One of our favorite parks!

Super site - their best sites, great deal off season
Internet is a struggle here. Verizon good, AT&T weak, T-Mobile very good
Starlink would be ideal depending on trees as there are quite a few here.
They have cable TV which I didn't hook up to.
Trash pickup which seems to be getting more and more rare these days.
Jet noise could bother you depending on winds with NAS Oceana nearly off the end of the campground

I typically come here and enjoy the annual air show which is this weekend. As I'm still sick, now going on 4 weeks, I'm going home tomorrow. Great seafood and other food around. Highly recommend. They also have a parking lot reserved for campground guests near the beach which is nice.

Huge, YUGE! dog park which Elli requires for me to make reservations. She loves it other than the gumball land mines she has to tippy toe around as she's so finicky with her paws probably from being out west and the pricklies.

Sorry to hear you're still under the weather Neal. I feel your pain as I've visited 1 ER for shingles and 1 urgent care this trip. Getting old is not for the weak.
