this is a good overnight stop. We have been there three times as its location happens to be a good stopping point. However it is important to arrive from the South exit 129 unless you are on your absolute A game handling your rig. Especially after dark. Arriving from the south is easy but from the north is narrow twisty no shoulders and dropoffs on west side of the road.
The park is clean, tight, and busy. Lots of 5th wheelers with extra stuff filling their site completely and then some .
we had an early departure and had to work around a dually pickup parked sideways at dep road edge in the next site.
there was enough grass to work around the pickup.
Pic is an example of the rigs showing up here. Most likely a snow bird.
