With the economy the way it has been and interest rates I’d bet a dollar the rest of the industry looks about the same.

I think Brett (NIRVC) predicted Oct 2024 being the bottom. Sounds like he was on point.

Not sure we are at the bottom. Housing values are starting to unwind.Notice Florida real estate has slowed considerably.
Only the RE sharks are bitting. 😂

I know some developers in FL are chomping at the bit. Places on Anna Marie Island that had trailers from the 60s are being condemned after this round of storms. Probably be bought up and converted to condos now.

The news isn't going to stop there! It appears the majority stockholder (blackrock) has filed for bankruptcy! That 14.67% holder news can't be good!

One can only wonder why corners are being cut in the products like grand design! And I agree with Joe! We aren't close to the bottom!!!

Well off topic but yes the land grab is on!!! And brace for the next hurricane slated for election day!!!

Anna Marie island and all the other island communities, especially west coast islands, are going to see outrageous home owner insurance rates. If you can even find insurance.

Please verify facts before posting information that Blackrock has filed for bankruptcy. My son works for Blackrock and that is as far from the truth as can be. Every company can have some balance sheet items that are noise but from an earning perspective, they are doing quite well.

According to RV financial reports, motorized RVs, Class A and super C production and sales are down so far this year.
Newmar’s bread and butter.

No surprise at today’s prices. You almost have to be a millionaire to reasonably afford a new gasser these days. Of course even a millionaire today isn’t close to what it used to be.

That's what baffles me. No one is selling, nothing is moving but it seems no one is trying to make a deal either. It's as if they think this is just going to solve itself and the recent years of astronomical price raises is okay.

Blackrock is located in NY not Louisiana. Second, if you read the bankruptcy filing you would find out it is a single asset real estate company that owned a residential property in LA. Not even remotely connected.

When I first read Kevin's post, I searched for any Blackrock bankruptcy filings and couldn't find anything. I then called my son, who is also my financial guru, to get his input. His immediate response was "hogwash." I was only concerned because I do have some investments in IBIT. As a great man once said, "Trust but verify", Kevin.
