Question WTEC III Shift Selector Question

Purchased a 1999 Holiday Rambler Endeavor 38ft. All works good. One question that I have not explained in the manuals is the Push button Shift selector has a MODE button. I assume this is a shift selection for different modes like Economy, Normal, etc. Would I be thinking right?

Correct -
On our Allison - the mode button is for “performance”, making shift patterns a little more aggressive.
Have since learned that there are options on what is the default and what is the 2nd mode. It is not universally the same.
