Hi, @Mwt16701; glad you found us here on RVF.

Can you help us with a bit more information? Year-round use where? Using it year-round in Montana would be far different from using it year-round in Southern California. And, what kind of use? Weekend outings? Longer trips? Full-time living?

Are you open to all types of RVs? Class A or Class C motorhomes? Travel trailers? Fifth-wheel trailer? And, generally, what kind of budget are we talking about?

Year round in the Northeast. PA NY. Mostly weekends. I am open to class A or C with a 25-30 G budget. Thank You for any help !

You might want to take a look at this linked article on cold-weather Rv considerations.

I think with your stated budget, you will need to look for something 5-8 years old in order to get a Class C, but there can be good used units out there.

Welcome to RVForums @Mwt16701. You'll want a RV that's well insulated. Then you'll want one that has sufficient cooling power for the hot summers and heating capability for the cold winters. Make sure you research the systems your future RV will have. Do NOT listen to what the salesman tells you but use that as a start for your research to verify.
