Got first replacement hose from Newmar in 2021 for $160, then warranty in 2022. Now $210 (inflation) so this is only the second one I’ve paid for in 4 years. I do have a backup which I occasionally use when I need extra length. Failure always within 3-4 inches of the end

Knock on wood but I am on my original hose going on 4 years this month and no leaks. I can't swear, but I think it might be due to the sleeve that I put on mine in the beginning. I got it on Amazon and it's actually used for large wiring looms. It is 1.5" but it doesn't quite let the hose completely expand. So I'm thinking that taking some of that pressure off of it might help. It's a little bit of a pain to get on but I think well worth it, here's the Amazon link.

I've used the same sleeve for the past 4 years or so. It's been on two hoses now so far. Still had pin holes and end separation.

Oh great now I'm jinxed LOL🙃

Let me get this straight...

You buy an expensive product (well, to me it's expensive), it breaks in a short time frame. You replace the broken part.

The replacement part breaks in a short time frame. You replace the broken part.

Ever hear the old saying about doing the same thing repeatedly but expecting different results?

With all you tech savvy people, why hasn't anyone done a dueeno soft start project rather than continue with the insanity???

I know better than to expect different results. Planned obsolescence (or should I say failure) by the manufacturer.
