Entry steps

Are the entry steps supposed to be springy? 12V steps..2015 Ventana..maybe move 1-2 " down when stepped on...I way 165lbs

I would look and see where the flex is coming from and tighten/replace where necessary. Generally, there should not be that much movement…

Yeah I agree...you can add 100lbs to your weight and the steps should not have much give. Something's come loose Blessings

Don’t forget to adjust the legs under the bottom step.

There are no legs under the step on a Ventana.

Mine have gotten a little springy over the years, but still work fine. If I step on the very outer edge of the bottom step (I'm about 165 also) and bounce slightly, it moves about 1/4-1/2", so I'd say you have a problem somewhere.

Same issue. Check and make sure the step motor is fully extending. If you can pull the steps out by hand it's not extending all the way. Over time they tend to bind due to NON lubrication of the joints

That's what I'm thinking, I did replace my motor.

steps fixed ...found a bolt on each side that is oblong. swiveled bolt tightened steps right up....no more springing
