Air gauge question

The air gauge has a circled "1" and "2". What is the meaning of these numbers?

1 refers to the primary air tank which provides air for the rear brakes. 2 refers to the secondary tank which is for the front brakes and accessories such as air suspension and air horn.

The numbers designate which air tank they are monitoring. #1 is the primary tank and #2 is the secondary tank.

Hey @Rich-MLsRV, is this your first diesel MH? I ask because nobody told me squat about my rig when I bought it and I wasn't sure what they were either. But it's a good idea to monitor those two gauges when you start your rig. You want to make sure they are both reading 125lbs (or there about) before you start moving the coach.

I agree. If the coach doesn’t reach optimum pressure the RV may start to porpoise when moving. Ask me how I know. ?

Yes - first RV. Took the freightliner class. Learned alot but you don't learn everything. We don't move until the gauges air up to 125.
