Question Leaf Blower - Battery powered

Does anyone use a leaf blower to clear misc debri from the RV and campsite? We like to clear the camp site slab and also the slide toppers of any misc stuff. The slide toppers cleared of any fallen prior to putting the slides in.

Well almost. I have a old corded leaf blower that I carry. I've used it a few times to clear debri but have not used it on slide toppers. Seems like it would work ok.

We do too and the brand Walmart sells is a good alternative as well. We keep 2-3 batteries as they power our weed eater too.

I use it in the fall in wooded areas to keep crap off my slide toppers which end up getting inside the rollers (leaves, pine needles, etc.). It's compact and powerful, breaks down for easy storage.

The one I use is this. Since I have a series of DeWalt 20v battery tools, I thought this one would be best and I get a spare battery for other tools.

Yes. All the time. I changed to all Milwaukee tools at home, so I kept everything the same.

Advise, don’t go cheap and get some lame, weak unit...it’ll be worthless. You need power to blow under the coach and toppers, ESPECIALLY of the debris is damp!!!

This has been my plan for a while to step up to Milwaukee but just haven't stepped up yet due existing inventory of tools and to $$. Once I make the leap to the Milwaukee line up I'll stick to that brand. In my opinion Milwaukee is a much better tool line.

They just rip you on batteries though. $89 for one at HD. ? Seems to be cheaper to buy a new 4 piece tool set that comes with 2 batteries and charger for 129.00 even though I already have some of the tools ?

I have a fan , drill, sander, leaf blower small weed eat , chain saw and power pack radio, skill saw. All work great and use the same charger and batteries. After 7 years all are still working just fine.

Mine are all Makita. I’ve got the big one for home (and it’s a monster blower) and the small 18v for the coach. The little one is really compact and perfect for small jobs around the coach while traveling. Really like the Makita collection of 18v tools.

I have just about every ryobi +1 tool they make. I have rebuilt our little lake cottage from top to bottom with them. I have many when they came out and were blue in color now they are all lime green. As a small engine repair mechanic and retired shop owner it's all I used
From the radios to caulk gun, I love them. We have many that I keep in the motorhome. Fans, radio, impact gun, blower, etc. Your right they are great last forever and reasonable priced.
