We just filled our truck (2017 F-350 with a 75 gal aux tank) at a local Co-OP, paid $4.50 a gallon there, and the day before at a local SAM's club, $4.49. After putting $350 in the tanks we were not completely full, but dang close to it. Here in the midwest our prices have historically been better than either coast, but its getting worse. SAM's and Co-OP stations seem to be the cheapest, you just have to find a 2-dog aggie town to try and fill.

I'm heading down to see the grand kids in Gulf Shores in a couple weeks with the Coach. Thank goodness I have a full tank left over from my trip to Florida in December. That will save me a bunch of money right there! Diesel was almost $2.00 a gallon cheaper when I bought that tank.

What kind of mileage you get, I get 6-8. My Monaco is at Gerzeny's in Nokomis and I need to bring it home to Marion IL when it's done.
I go 75 to 10 and then up 231 to 65 to Nashville to avoid Atlanta and Chattanooga. so it's a little farther than straight 75. Around 1000 miles.

I just ran it up and at 6 mpg, the worst I'll get, I figured 165 gallons of diesel. $1000 if it's $6 a gallon.
Ouch.
I get about the same mileage you get.
From Sarasota, I can get to Diamond Caverns RV park in KY on a half tank and then all the way to northern IN on another half. 1250 miles. I find that the route you mentioned is the best and most non-stress route heading north to the mid-west. I took that route last time I went to the mothership in Nappanee, IN. 65 from AL to Indianapolis and then 31 north.

Drove the I-95 corridor from Fl. to Va. last Thursday-Friday!
Gas prices were $3.79-$4.09
Diesel prices from $4.79-$5.25
Here in Va., Powhatan County, west of Richmond, gas prices increased from $3.89-$4.09 to $4.12-$4.25 in two days!
Bite my lip, & "tap" the ol Card for "liquid gold", as the Clampett's use to say!;)

You're welcome here just like anyone else!
I like it and your: you can't stop us attitude
Happy travels
Thanks. I can’t contribute to the gas mileage numbers but here is our consumption on our trip to Mabel Lake Provincial park a couple weeks ago. Secondary highways, max 80 kmh speed limits and many times slower on a curvy valley road. Cheap cheap. I would say that 140 kilometre return trip cost us about 4.40 cents Canadian. 😊

E=mc2 tells us that energy and mass are interchangeable and are actual different forms of the same thing. So with that in mind what if we took and ...no that wouldn't work, oh oh...what if we...sorry that won't work either. We could always convert...oh never mind!

Depressing day! Off to Kroger to stock up for Sunday's festivities at my place. Heading to the car the giant sign at the fuel station right in my face: Diesel: $5.55. NEVER have I seen or imagined this. Kroger used to be the cheap place and if I recall under $3.00/gal not long ago. As I have nothing good to say or offer I'll stop here.

(This came to me in a dream, so it might mean nothing)
I don't like this dream. I hope you don't tend to have precognitive dreams. 😬

Man, you guys are inching up to California’s $6+/gal. Then, again, I haven’t checked today. Maybe it’s hit $7😡

Many of us have to bite our tongue.

You did not go far enough north reg gas in Pa $4.45 yesterday, Deisel over $6 some places. One has to read the signs carefully. I saw $4.09, pulled in and it was $4.45. $4.09 was the hybrid stuff.

Diesel, being the fuel that drives the country, may soon be subject to rationing. Truckers, farmers, trains, (yep trains),
planes (Jet A) to anything that moves are feeds the nation is going to lead the pecking order.

But...where on the fuel chain would we be?
Find a long-term RV park and kick back for a couple of years. We're gonna be just fine.

This came across my FB feed today. All I've got to say is if you smell smoke in your car, get out quick! This battery technology might need a bit of refining. . .

Can anyone calculate how much carbon was eliminated from the Earth’s atmosphere? Anyone?
