Shell on the north side of Corbin TN at I-75 was out of gas and diesel this morning. I believe Love's across the road had some.

It looks like it is worth considering getting an electric car :)
If you think it will be easier finding a charge station vs a fuel station, don't come to Texas.

It’s definitely cheaper towing with an electric. But remember, unless you are camping closer to home and charging at home where it’s cheap, on road trips you will be charging at superchargers or DC fast chargers which are typically 3 to 5 times more expensive than charging at home. (You pay for the speed). Having said that,we are about 7000 kilometres into an 11500 kilometre ish camping trip with our little 18 foot trailer and from what I can tell I think it will work out to about a third of the price of gasoline. Nice little combo though. Oodles of power, the regenerative braking is amazing and the low centre of gravity make for a super tow experience. We are pretty happy with our little combo.

Safe travels all.

[Mod edit] the price of electricity doubled in New England this year. Not a viable option either.

I guess I would have to give up rving if I had to transition to an EV and a trailer that's the size of my rear bath in my DP. I'm 6'3" it physically wouldn't work for me.

LOL. I hear ya. We went from a 40 foot DP to this. We figure we are like gold fish. We get used to the size of our bowl. LOL. 👍

Sure has opened up lots of new areas to camp and hike in though. Works for us. 👍.

Safe travels Tex.

Although many of us probably won't see it in happen in time to accommodate our RV requirements, the future will bring us battery powered RV's of the length we are accustomed to.

Battery and engine technology is progressing rapidly, which can be seen in the creation, testing and introduction of battery powered aircraft, something I didn't think I would see in my lifetime.

Check out NASA's all-electric X-57 Maxwell, part of their Scalable Convergent Electric Propulsion Technology and Operations Research (SCEPTOR) project.

Interesting. Thanks.

According to this site: AAA Gas Prices , diesel prices actually declined overnight from an avg of $5.771 to $5.770.

Can I get a whoop whoop?
Unfortunately oil stocks plummeted. Some days, it is difficult to win.
