In this thread you can post your travels in your Newell Motorhome. When posting you must include a picture of your coach at your location.

Please include other campground details such as cellular strength so people know what carriers work or not, OTA and SAT capability, any highlights or amenities you'd like to share. If you're a drone pilot then feel free to take videos and upload to your YouTube channel and add a link to your video as well for even better presentation of your campground.

Refer to this post on how to optimally include your pictures in your post:

Alright @ehochuli85 - let's kick off this thread with some great pics of your coach at campgrounds...

LOL! Very good, Neal.
Okay, we're at Wolf Creek RV Resort in Pagosa Springs, CO. It was just a couple weeks ago that Neal and I met in person for the first time, although he has since bailed on me and moved on. This is a beautiful Class A resort, right on the San Juan River, (visible in one of my attached pictures). This is probably our favorite RV park in the country, and we've been to most of the top parks. Not only is it a beautiful park, but the owners of the park, and the individual lot owners, are great people and a lot of fun. There is no "snobbery" by the lot owners, like many of us have experienced in some places.

We're here for another two weeks, and then we head to Durango for a week.

Okay, now lets get some more of you Newell owners to step and send us a picture of where you are in your Newell today.

My best to all,
Ed

Ooh La La! Gorgeous!!

I finally got around to reading Neal's 'instructions' for this "where were you with your Newell today" forum. I see that I failed to note the wifi and satellite reception here.

ATT is very strong. Verizon is strong enough for phone calls, but probably not strong enough to stream. But the real solution here, and a real rarity, is that Wolf Creek RV Resort supplies excellent wifi to all guests, and you are welcome to use it to stream TV, etc. We've been here for a month, and we stream a lot of TV, and I've never used my ATT or Verizon, other than for my phone (Verizon), except to test the signal strength for this post. As for satellite - we have DirecTV and get great reception. It looks to me like all the sites are satellite friendly.

I've also posted one more picture that shows our full site. Most of the sites here are similar.

And now - NEWELL OWNERS - WHERE WERE YOU WITH YOUR NEWELL TODAY!!??

Waited for Ed…😜…now too busy with driving and family, so today is 2 days ago.

Mammoth Mountain RV Park. Bring your ”A-game” for forrest floor dirt management; especially with your fur friend.

OK, today is today…at Blackwell RV Park in Coeur d’Alene, ID…end of the season, nice and quiet the way we like it!
No cares about WIFI or SAT…I BYOI with TMO & ATT dual carrier.

#1524 isn’t real happy about having her picture taken after playing in the dirt for a week then running hard through 900 miles of Idaho bugs. But, what @Neal wants, Neal gets!

UPDATE: slightly polished pictures posted to maintain her dignity.

Wow guys! Beautiful coaches and beautiful scenery!

When posting pics please use the option to insert them into your post and use the FULL SIZE (not thumbnail) option to show off the beauty. I will edit the above posts to fix this for CG.

Allllrrrrright, CaptainGizmo!!!
Thanks for jumping on the wagon, Steve, on "where were you with your Newell today". And as you noted, "today" is a very flexible term, especially if (a) you're retired, and (b) you're travelling 10 hours a day - OMG!!! 10 hours is normally 3 days driving for me, plus the stops in between are normally 2 night stops. So your 20 hours of driving in 2 days would take me 2 weeks! I'm impressed . . . . but not gonna change - slow and easy is my motto.

Great photos, too. I love the night pictures you take of #1524. I've seen others you've done, too, and I can never get mine to look that nice at night. I'll have to sign up for those special "CaptainGizmo night-time photog" classes I hear you're offering.

We love Blackwell RV Park in Coeur d’Alene, located right on the water, and so close to the very cool town of Coeur d'Alene. I do hope it's more than an over-nighter for you. We haven't yet been to Ambassador RV Park in Caldwell ID, but it's also been recommended to me by several folks; it's on the "future" list.

Again, thanks for showing us where 1524 was "today", and let's get some more of you Newell owners out there to tell us "where you were with your Newell today (or thereabouts!)".

My best to all, Ed

@pamcameron44 -

Where were you with your Newell today? (And note, in my "retired" vocabulary, "today" is a very expansive term!!!) We'd love to know, and we'd love to see some pictures of 566!
Safe travels, Ed

Thanks Neal. On the mobile browser, that setting is hidden under the “Insert” button AFTER an image is already “Attached”.

When the image posted, I saw the thumbnails, but assumed they’d translate into full size once posted. Normally, on the desktop, I just drag and drop, or paste images.

Now we know. Thanks.

Yes Ed, 10 hours is a push, and mistakes can be made once you’re fatigued. We had CDA as a goal, however, with a VERY short window before they closed. Then we press on to Polson to close them out as well.

Normally, I shoot for 350 mile days. Of course, there are other friends who “remind” me of their 1100 mile records. Whatever. LOL

How long are you getting to spend in CDA? Looks like you got one of those riverside sites! I've always tried to get in there, but they were always booked. Walk down to Cedars Floating Restaurant down at the end of the road! Excellent food and beautiful views right on the lake.

How long are you going to be in Polson - when do they close? (I live the length of that drive much better!) Be sure and post some pics of your stay there. Travel safe.

We’ve got only 4 days here before they lock it up. Polson closes on the 15th, so we’ll dress up out site for the winter.

Welcome, glad you joined and love the pics! Keep them coming!
