No Power to Coach or Chassis

Sounds like the cold and no hook-ups got you. I don't know anything about solar and lithium, but if your rig is stored outside in a secure area, you may want to try one of the portable suitcase solar panels that you hook up directly to your batteries with Gator clips. Do you have 6V for the...

    Question Adding/using Solar

Just looked at a 2019 Sporstcoach srs365 RB that I am in the process of buying. I found a receptacle on the side that says "SOLAR". Do I have to add anything if I want to buy a panel? I've heard about control panels and that, but never paid much attention. Not that we do a lot of boondocking...

    Adding solar worth it?

...on using it in Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming. We will be in RV parks, forest service campground, and some boondocking. Is it worth installing solar panels? Our motorhome will be prepped for solar but no panels. If you have experience with solar panels or an opinion on this please respond...

Uber kudos to Solar Energy Systems - Indiana

...at some future date pick up 4 more Victron 330ah batteries that I'm prewired for as the price dropped significantly this year. All is great. Solar efficiency

Hello Gang. I am looking at a small trailer to buy that has Solar on it with a 1000w inverter. All that aside, How good are the panels themselves. For instance , home panels can work in some overcast. But do RV mounted work as well as that. And overcast can mean shade obviously. Any...

Thor Motorhome 2017 Fourwinds Chateau Model 23U

At 5'7" and almost 66 I resemble that remark. And my motor is a 2003 edition of the V10. So I guess I am changing coils as well. I am not, I found a guy that wants a solar setup and am tracing work with him. Phew

    More Battery / Solar questions

Hey solar gurus - my so-simple solar charging system is driving me nuts. It's got three components 1) a 100W solar panel 2) A Renogy Voyager 20A controller 3) A new and unused Die Hard 100Ah battery (with a reserve capacity of 200?), And of course the wires - which run outside the camper. The...

Is my RV really Solar READY

...find anything in the forums. I recently purchased a 2017 Keystone Hideout. There is a little plug on the front of the RV next to a sticker that says "Solar Ready." Does that mean I can just buy a panel and plug it into that little plug? It can't be that easy, right? No inverter? No controller?

    Kodiak ultralite

Welcome. I purchased a Kodiak Ultra-lite 201QB new in 2021. I have put over 12,000 miles on it. I had an issue with the solar panel not wired correctly. Other than that and some minor exterior lights problems it works good.

    2014 itasca solei 38r

your inverter pulls 12vdc from your batteries and feeds the fridge with 120 vac. You have a balancing act between fridge (and other) loads - battery capacity - solar input - and generator use.
