    A solar generator is a consolidated Lithium battery with a bunch of features built in. Do you need the inverter part of it? I just put a Lithium battery and changed my converter in my similar TT. You may already have the updated convertor. Look for the model #.

    Sounds like you enjoy projects. Personally, I do too, but I wouldn't remove the underbelly unless I had a problem. Is your solar something you set-up? I can always find a way to pull a few wires without that much effort.

    ...the time but mine does not seem to do that when I have both battery banks powering it. That might just be a coincidence and it was just the load at the time. With the Solar generator in for repairs, I added a second 2000 watt inverter to my 500 watt inverter since I am now missing the 3000 watt.

    Must haves for boondocking

    WE spent the winter off grid. Our 100 gallon fresh water tank is a blessing. Our 2 50 gallon waste tanks allow us to store all the on board fresh water. Installed a pump to transfer gray water to black water tank. 860 watts of solar maintain our 4 antique 6 volt house batteries.
