Question Electric water heater not working

Some water heaters have a switch on the unit itself. It's a quick way to interrupt power to the heating element, helpful when draining the unit, winterizing, or replacing an anode. If you are experiencing this after service, perhaps it was left turned off. Yours may or may not have the...

Air Brake Plunger Protector for Motorhome

Excellent! I couldn't tell if maybe it wouldn't fit as designed. Good to know it works!! Yeah the clip on model is my go to now that we aren't camping with pets and don't have any small children running around. I do resort to the padlock version if I am going to be under the coach...

    RVing with E-Bikes

E-bikers emit less greenhouse gases during respiration. (Leg muscles use more oxygen...and produce more CO2) There is just no winning... I think if I added up all the other batteries...Chassis, House, Flashlights, Remotes, Clamp Meters, CO and Smoke detectors, Safe, non-contact thermometer...

Air Brake Plunger Protector for Motorhome

Wow, looks like ou have it on backwards...the entire unit is supposed to be behind the square end. I see it is in the recess. That recess is there to clear the mounting collar nut that secures the brake valve to the dash panel. You may need a remixed design to match your brake valve handle.

    Ventana shower issue

https://a.co/d/06WMMigq Neal turned us on to the Moen Adler a very long time ago. The pressure compensating valve kept temperature well regulated while showering... vs. the Cold Hot...and constantly trying to adjust the temperature while showering. Recently, we had a random water pump...

    Freightliner Annual Service

I browsed some of the lists…but don’t see the crankcase breather element. Our ISL has a service schedule for that …. IIRC @ 60,000 miles. Just replaced mine. Urea filter …but I believe that is 200,000 miles. IDK, I changed mine once to see what condition it was in. I realize there is...

    RVing with E-Bikes

Ronni and I love cycling. But we just aren't ready to go electric. I'm sure...if I last long enough...there may well be an e-bike to come. Not today... We faced the delima of what to take with us on longer trips. It's easy when you know the type of trails you'll be using...but on longer...

Onan 5500 generator, stops after a few seconds, shows code 41

I had an issue with ours…something about speed. I thought a new control board was in my future. Cummins couldn’t trace the problem with their laptop…decided to go inside. A loose screw. A screw in the intake would get sucked into the speed Governor and scramble the signal…so the unit shut...

Demco Air Force One Check Valves

Wow! No Plan, Thanks again for posting this thread. My etrailer order arrived...and this morning I went out to replace the two check valves. The one between the TEE and the AF1 was totally blown out. You can see light thru it. This very negatively affected our Braking performance while...

    Resolved Another electrical issue

I wonder if Newgle shares any details. Certainly, the coach makers have access to guidance more detailed than push a button. Someone has to fix this stuff...it always breaks.

    Resolved Another electrical issue

I would try to get the part number of the KIB panel and search for an installation manual online. This may be the all-in one controller for the water pump...replacing the Intellitec C-storm controller before the touchscreen generation.

Dash Air Conditioner Compressor Failure AGAIN

Something sounds fishy. I believe a seized compressor warrants a line flush, and new filter/drier/accumulator... I would also double check the low pressure cutout switch to make sure the compressor clutch is released if the refrigerant charge is low. When you get a new compressor it comes with...

Generator not powering the AC or Microwave or internal outlets

Before replacing things...identify the failure. I have only worked in one Sprinter, ...(Airstream Interstate) but I like to work backwards from easy to difficult. 1) make sure house cutout is turned ON, some models shut down power and inverter when in the store position. Airstream added an...

    Oil change interval confusion

Freightliner recommended 1-2-3 in their Fireside Chat literature. 1 being the annual oil and filter change, 2 being the engine air filter, 3 being the desiccant cartridge, etc... I saw the change to 18 months. The problem is...I am just hitting retirement. We want to travel sometime...

    Question Air brake lock

The cnc metal ones caught my attention...and prompted me to design something I could use. Loved the testimonial about a guy stopping to go into a shop, to find his coach rolled into something after his pet bumped the switch off. Plastic works. You would think the metal would give you added...

    Question Air brake lock

I designed a version that has eyelets to pass a padlock thru. That's the one to use when you are crawling underneath the motorhome, or have small children with thumbs. The other version just snaps on and off with a click. Great for pets. Unfortunately, the brake switch installation varies...

Question How Does One Change the Generator Oil Filer on 2024 Thor Aria 3401?

I fibd the best thing to do is google the owners manual or look in the bag that came with your rv. I did some work on my Dad's 4000 watt LP generator on his Airstream. I knew it would be different than my QD8000 generator. I looked at the Data plate and googled it. Downloaded the .pdf and...

Demco Air Force One Check Valves

https://www.etrailer.com/s.aspx?qry=demco+check+valve&furl=-vw-1-pg-Accessories_and_Parts I actually looked at my initial install and I see two green/black check valves. So, I had them cancel the initial order and ordered two. I'm not much for messing around with see if?...I just want to swap...
