So some help from someone smarter, I have a 2005 Coachman Freelander M 3100 that has a side arm mechanism on both side. It seem to bind if not close to level which I can deal with but my question is is this system a problem child just waiting to implode? Suggestion and tips appreciated. Thanks
I had no idea that oil changes cost so much. I have been quoted $200 to $300 for an oil change. Is that normal? On top of that besides the dealer
who charges close to the $300, where in the world can you take it to get an oil change?
Freelander I believe is a class C and will likely be on an E 450 chassis. Some class C are on an E 350. The F53 is the class A chassis. I think I have this right.
I have a 2015 Freelander QB21. Do any members have any ideas about how to quiet the A/C? The system is not ducted. Any experience with a thermostat that controls both the furnance and the A/C? Ideas? Thoughts?
Thanks,
Jim
If you truly mean 12v, you should have a manual with specs or can look up the make model and get the electrical specs to calculate with. Cant say I have ever seen a full size 12volt fridge, but I am happy to be wrong on that.....there is always something new in the RV industry!
Hello everyone. I am fairly new to the RV world. Last year we purchased a 2018 Forest River Coachmen Freelander, 21RS. We have
taken several trips to local campsites in TN and really enjoy it.
I must admit there was a learning curve on how to operate everything, but, with info from various...
...Coachman. BUT, this slide ass’y was misinstalled in the factory, per a service tech in Brainerd, Mn, who was referred by Jason Johnson the Freelander warranty service manager. The coach was brand new in February of this year. We are the first owners. At any rate, Jason Johnson has been...

You know that the Nomad community is humongous right? The only thing you need to do to join, and have a bunch of friends willing to give you the shirt off their back, is to be like them, and be generous to a fault!
I have never felt like any of my friends have taken advantage of me!!! Life is...
...Portable A/C,Port-a-potty well you get the idea. When I decided I was going to move towards full time I sold the Nissan and purchased the Freelander. Other than maintenance and security I have done very little to it. Now that I am going to go full time I will start making upgrades a few at...
My wife and I purchased our first RV last April. Got a coachman Freelander 21RS to see what this RV life would be like. By the end of October we traded the Freelander in for a new Forest River Sunseeker 3010DS. Needles to say we discovered that we love being on the road with our two pups...
@arties45 please complete your profile so we can see what type of RV you have within your profile. What engine does your Coachman Freelander have and how much oil does it take? Some of the engines such as my Cummins diesel requires a lot of oil hence the cost. It's sadly part of the "RV Lifestyle"
