...have issues. Oh well now I know we will probably always have something needing to be fixed in 5th wheel. Glad we paid for an extendedwarranty. We moved to Northeast Oklahoma in 2020 from Hawaii. Quite a change. Wanted to travel since we have retired. We’re feeling much better pulling...
That is a tough question to answer as you can imagine the list is long and different by provider. I had the AGWS plan on both coaches. Here is the link it describes in limited detail what is covered by plan type. As usual, the more coverage you want the more it costs...
...ago...with “coatings” is that they are applied by a 16-year-old with a spray can in the back of the dealer’s lot. YMMV
If you want an extendedwarranty, I suggest that you shop around rather than buying what the dealer offers. Those plans are rarely that good. Again, YMMV.

...it up on 6/1. During the 8 months I have reviewed and searched many sites, feeds, etc and 3 questions remain unanswered. Q1: best extendedwarranty or if needed? Q2: best wheel & tire emergency service? Q3: best roadside assistance. Being a newbie I have no clue regarding the answers to these...
...the info and suggestion from their email support team that the fuel gauge needed to be replaced. Tech didn't agree but instead replaced the sending unit. This required dropping the tank to replace, 3 hours labor. Covered under the FL extendedwarranty. No issues post FL service so all appears...
When we bought our 2017 DS we purchased extendedwarranty thru Cornerstone at a cost of $6000. We got a $3700 refund when we traded up for our 2020DS, so it cost $2300 for 18 months of coverage since Newmar warranty covered first year. We went to use the plan once to correct issue with lift...
I just found this damp spot underneath my FWS. It’s right above the rear tires and extends to the left of the photo about another 2-3 feet.
There is no plumbing in the FWS to serve as a source. The coach has sat out in the rain this week with the FWS extended. I can only assume the rainwater...
I bought the extendedwarranty on how it works. You get the first 90 days then the warranty you purchase kicks in. I figure if I get a good one, I win. If not, most issues make themselves evident early on in most cases.
I will keep this thread updated as time goes on.
An inspection by the seller is worth exactly what YOU pay for it; zero. If you are determined to go ahead with the purchase, tell the dealer you want everything fixed that the "inspection" finds wrong, and the "60-day warranty" extended to 12 full months from the date of purchase; in writing...

...straight to the battery. Will need to remove and replace jack. Internal Electrical issue of some sort. Correction Remove old jack and install new jack.”
Have extendedwarranty that paid full. Truck running fine. Asked service writer he said they don’t know what caused issue. Maybe lightning.
I purchased an extendedwarranty on my Ventana LE. It was very expensive but since the coach was 5 years old I thought it would be a good idea for peace of mind. So far I have not had to use it. If you get one ask a lot of questions. My policy for example has a milage cap of 15K miles a...
I know from all I read one better get good at repairing minor things. We bought the extendedwarranty just for major issues like roofs, AC, and other higher priced items from the dealer. It is a bumper to bumper with labor paid for. Yes, some will chastise you on those warranties and you hope...
...builds to other manufacturers? Any information anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated. Also, La Mesa RV give you a 15 day guarantee on the RV. Would it make sense to get the RV inspected by an outside company before purchase, or just buy the extendedwarranty policy they offer? Thanks.
First, welcome aboard.
Q1- Who knows as to best warranty....but f needed, well that depends. Are you very handy at fixing things like plumbing, wiring and RV appliances? That will answer if any warranty is needed to a big degree.
Q2- That is very subjective but the best tires.....I have...
That's another reason why it is very important to contact the service contract company and document failure dates. Service contracts are tied to failure dates that are documented. Even manufacturers will not take "someone's word" for when something failed. Having documentation at the service...
...a factory warranty on coach & chassis was important in buying new. And when it is about out of warranty, I'll probably buy an "extended warranty" ! I'm pretty sure this will be our last coach, and becoming "aged" makes having a warranty more important to me now, than if I were 25 years...
...being none the wiser. Even though I registered my CFX345 with Dometic, no recall letter. Lots of opportunities to pay for an extendedwarranty on a defective unit though!

...even ask about it when I ordered it since they claimed up to 60' range, but the extender says it should be used when the distance from the unit to the rear most wheels is 25 feet or more. I did ask about the extendedwarranty in my email to them, so maybe I will get it offered? Time will tell.
