    Eco trek battery life

...battery life. How can I tell how much battery life is left when I’m not plugged into shore power? And can someone walk me through how the solar works? It seems like it’s a very passive system. What do I need to do to ensure the solar is charging the lithium batteries (ex is there a specific...

2003 Fleetwood Bounder 35R small solar panel on top of the front AC unit

...condition outside and inside with only 22K original miles, my guess is she must have been garaged or covered, but anyhow, I noticed this small solar panel on top of the front AC and so I figure it's for battery charge up-keep. I live in California's High Desert which means tons of sun all the...

Question Portable Solar Generator - Bluetti

I have a Keystone Fusion Toy Hauler, and want to install solar. A Bluetti AC300 with two batteries and solar panels providing 24kwh when fully charged is about half the cost of a hard solar system install. Does anyone have any experience with the Bluetti and will it provide for my needs the...

    Question Adding/using Solar

Just looked at a 2019 Sporstcoach srs365 RB that I am in the process of buying. I found a receptacle on the side that says "SOLAR". Do I have to add anything if I want to buy a panel? I've heard about control panels and that, but never paid much attention. Not that we do a lot of boondocking...

Need help with a DIY solar installation on motorhome

Hello I need help with understanding on what parts I need to have solar power in my 2001 Coachman Pathfinder. At the moment it runs on generator but I am looking foward to getting solar power and batteries when going to any national parks or places where generator is not allowed and there is no...

    Solar power

Solar won't pay for itself. When I stayed at Casa Grande for two winters where we pay for electricity I tried using solar to offset costs. It's not worth it. In the end the electricity is not that expensive.

    Solar Update

So here is my story and I'm sticking to it. This year has been interesting on the solar front for me. The amount of solar I have installed has gone up and down through the years. I started with one 230 watt panel many years ago. Then it went to 1150 a few years later. I kept that for about 5...

    Lithium Battery Issues

I would go to a place with a good reputation, that specializes in solar and Li battery installations. I do not trust most dealerships.

    Solar Panel Operation Question

...stolen from different storage facilities around Houston, we recently downgraded to a smaller Coachman Spirit 2963BH. This one came with a 100W solar panel preinstalled on the roof, and we attached the loose cables near the battery to the +\- poles as labelled. What is required for the...

    Is Completely Lithium Possible?

This is on the '07 Expedition 38N. Solar is in the future, but for now I'm going to try installing the 100Ah lithium in the chassis position, plug the combiner back in, and take some measurements. Thanks for your input.

    Getting paid for solar

I'm in Casa Grande until April and last year electricity was a bit expensive. I didn't use solar as there was discussion back then about electricity being cheap, not the case here. This year I'm using my tools via Magnum ME-BMK and Victron stack to use solar from 9 AM until 4:30 PM. This allows...

    Question Solar install

Last year we got the whole solar and lithium upgrade from SES. Our primary purpose was to be able to boondock some and reduced generator usage while boondocking. If we are travelling campground to campground, unless we need to exercise the generator, we run the house AC's on solar/battery...
