That's insane! I registered my coach in FL about 6 months ago, did vin verification in Hilton Head and then drove down to the nearest DMV and was never asked that. How frustrating. But I have to tell yah, somehow you manage to turn every difficult situation into a fantastic story.

Yes, it was quite exasperating.

I registered the London Aire a few years ago, and it was a piece of cake. When the clerk asked for the weight, I simply pulled up the specifications from the Newmar website and showed them to her. Case closed.

This time, however, no amount of reasoning was going to get the job done. She was determined that I pull in the slides, bring up the jacks, air up the suspension, and head off in search of that elusive weigh station. Apparently, Florida had decided that trusting the manufacturer was no longer an acceptable strategy.
