As the subject says and as can be easily seen from the photo I'm including. The door sperated from the wood mounting. The wood I assume is made of plywood, is warped in the wall there where the hinges were attached by way of screws that are rusted. Apparently the previous owners did not address the water damage and because of that, the door would not close because it wasn't aligned properly. I had assumed it was due to a minor accident.so I left it as a low priority and duck taped it but high winds finally broke it off.
I was hoping if there was someone who had a similar situation how they went about repairing it? I would guess it would require replacing the wood and mounting it properly with either screws or bolts and reconnecting the hinges with new screws. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
