Yesterday was the first chance I have had to drive the motorhome since installing the MAF sensor, we drove about 175 miles with no problems or codes, I have high hopes that this has solved the problem. Thanks all for your help, I have been forced to learn a lot more about this engine than I expected.

Thanks again

John

It best to understand your machine, even if you have to pay for repair. At least the price of repair ( when needed) makes more sense then...

I agree, at least I can discuss the issues with the shop, and after this situation I know I can take of plugs, wires, and coils myself. I bought a scan tool and it really helps point you in the right direction.

Thanks

Silly question, it didn't go into limp mode due to an overheated tranny did it/does it?
No problem with the transmission, after installing a new MAF seems to have solved the problem, we have taken three short trips 300-400 miles and have not had any issues.
