keep in mind there may be a white (ground) wire running along with the orange. You should verify that it is solid and not tapped. This would be a secondary use wire too

Chargerman, what do you suggest or own? I'm curious.

I own a 2006 Monaco Executive. I love it as much as you guys love your Newmar’s and despite how much folks rave about the quality of that era of Monaco builds, I definitely have come across similar quality issues “behind the scenes” as I’ve seen in late model Newmar builds but no where near that level. I am keeping my Coach because we love the floorplan, interior quality, drivetrain (series 60 DD) and the fact that is a pre-emissions engine. Also because I refuse to buy a newer coach during the current market madness and I wouldn’t buy a coach until I have some confidence that the DEF head issue has been resolved if it affected the engine I was considering.
When things slow down my first choice in our next Coach is a Foretravel Realm or a Newell if I can find one without all of the crystal bling. My search will only be a for used Coach as I refuse to buy new for as much as we use the motorhome. If I were to consider a higher production build it would be a Cornerstone. My reason is that I believe they take a much higher depreciation hit then I think they should in the first few years which brings their price to a more reasonable level.
A couple years ago I had the opportunity to see a new King Aire and a Foretravel Realm side by side at a small show in Fl. The difference in overall quality between the two is quite obvious despite being priced competitively.
Lastly, I’ve toured both the Newmar and Entegra factories which helped me to understand the build process closely which also would have me choose a high end Entegra over a high end Newmar

redbaron. I visited the Newmar service center the end of March. What a great experience . While I was there I asked about the mysterious orange wire that looped in pass. seat console. To my surprise, I got the answer. The wire(S) start in the overhead above driver seat, go to the pass seat console, loop, and go to 1/2 bath, loop, and terminate in bay just below 1/2 bath. Now that I know I will find a good use for them. Probably some underglow lights. Thank You, Nevin, John1, and John2 at Newmar Service. That is another great discussion for another day. SAFE TRAVELS.
