You are correct of course Kevin. 3600 available watts versus 12,000 watts. As to your personal use, you are one of those people that minimize life and like it. The vast majority want to flick the switch or just get hot water out of the tap rather then think about the process of how that happens. If nothing else, 30 amp campers has taught many people about the power of the electric grid.
I post to let people know alternatives are available. For some it is good to know there was life before mega land yachts, and the high costs associated with them.
