I ordered my New Aire end of September 2019; did a FPU mid February 2020, so 4 1/2 months. 27% off MSRP. I went with the 35ft for the king sized bed and bigger engine. Many specials added. Bought from NIRVC in Lewisville, TX. Excellent dealer.
Not too bad, but I like cold weather. Toasty warm in the coach with heated floors & fireplace. It snowed some one day, but was gone the next. How was FPU in Feb? I’m probably looking at a cold weather FPU as well.
Thanks TJ. Working on an RFP.Ahhh, now I see why @Neal mentioned you buying a New Aire. As for dealers, everyone probably has their favorite but here are the ones we contacted when we were in the market for a new coach.
Guaranty RV, Junction City, OR
TransWest, Frederick, CO
Steinbring Motor Coach, Garfield, MN
Midway Motor Homes, Grand Rapids, MI
National Indoor RV Center, Las Vegas & Phoenix, AZ
We got responses from most of them and we went with TransWest in Frederick, CO, based on price. They hit my pre-determined "set spot" for price right on the money a couple of others were close and one was way off the mark.
Good luck with your search.
TJ
Thanks John. Starting on an RFP. DonI purchased from NIRVC as well (Atlanta) after getting quotes from all of the dealers TJ mentioned. After getting all the quotes, I gave all of the dealers an opportunity to beat the lowest quote I’d gotten. No one budged but NIRVC did, beat them all by $2k.
Smooth, easy, no stress sale.
Sounds like a good suggestion Neal. Getting excited. I hope to order soon. DonI would buy from any dealer in the US whomever has the lowest price. Negotiate and include Factory Pickup (FPU) and go to Nappanee to take delivery and the incredible education and QA the experience offers. There will be things that need attention, no better place than the factory and the tech will also find things. On top of that the education is priceless as these coaches are complex.
You've already "join[ed] the order," Don, you just need to find your steed In the big pasture.Sounds like a good suggestion Neal. Getting excited. I hope to order soon. Don
