Looks like a wonderful adventure. I hope we can do a similar trip in 23 or 24.

This is our second trip and enjoying it more than first time which just seemed like a blur. I think everyone that wants to should do this trip at least once.

MAGNIFICENT!

Fantastic. You’ve inspired us to plan a trip to Alaska.
i see you were very close to Whittier AK. My Mom and Dad lived there when they first got married (early 50’s). He was a building contractor and built a military installation there. It stands derelict now, but always wanted to go there.

Homer is known as the halibut fishing capital of the world, so naturally we booked a trip. Got up early to meet the boat at 0530 only to be informed at 0600 that the Captain was sick and our trip was cancelled. Bookings for the rest of our stay in Homer were sold out, this is all we caught😢

We went to plan B for the rest of our stay, visited Salty Dog Saloon, Homer Brewing Company and Grace Ridge Brewing Co.

Thanks for sharing this. The wife and I would love to go but I wasn't sure about trying to take the camper.

Based on your pictures, my wife would make me find some different campgrounds with more trees, though.

Second night stay was at Diamond Grove RV Park in Spruce Grove, Alberta. Nice campground with full hookup, 50A service. Yes satellite TV still working.

If you ever come through this way again, give Spring Lake RV Resort (which is not far from Spruce Grove) a try. We thought it was really nice.

Thanks for sharing I like how you have included maps of each days travel.

Your pictures are wonderful.

I hope all is well. Looking forward to more.

Okay I know I’ve been a little behind on my posts, just having too much fun.

We stayed at Seward KOA which opened in 2019. There is a resident Bald Eagle nest which has been there since before the park was built which was fun to watch.

KOA
Park WiFi-poor
No cable SAT or OTA
Full hookup sites 30/50a but half the park no sewer.
AT&T-fair

Fishing charters are available but chose to wait u til Valdez. Did do the Kenai Fjords cruise which was excellent and had great weather. Alaska Sealife Center is worth the visit, this was built and funded by the petroleum industry after the Valdez oil spill. Exit Glacier is also worth the a visit.
