Hi Everyone,

We are currently storing our new to us Mirada 35OS at a storage facility. Fit into the parking space just fine. Problem is taht the power steps will not retract once everything is shut off and us leaving it. I called Coachmen and the tech said there is usually a switch on the slide wall but we could not find one anywhere. Is there a way to retract the steps for storage? We like that the steps remain out when parked if we are at a campground, but not in this case of storage and another parking spot next to us that our step is not blocking. Thanks in advance for any answers.

There’s likely a switch which disables the auto retract on the steps so they’re not extending and retracting every time you open and close the door while camping. Look near the porch light switch and awning control.

Yeah that is what the tech from Coachmen told us. I searched and searched and could not find anything. Right now the stair will only retract when the coach is on, which is fine for us. Just the storing part and not retracting is a problem.
