I'm seeing more 2018's being rotated into 2020 Newmars than I think I've read since I got into this mid 2017. I realize New Aire's are a part of this not only due to the slightly larger size but much better engine and also the initial grief New Aire's had with the "beta" models being first year. But I'm seeing DSDP's turning over from '18 to '20's oddly. Anyone else seeing this or getting the same impression?

Research is showing that the 2019’s are not only holding their value, but actually INCREASING. And some models, like the 4369 with custom paint and special tech upgrades, are pulling 110% of their price...IF you can find one! Super Rare!!

I guess I have one of those special rigs! What are you seeing the 2019 4369 going for?

2019 DSDP 4369 * Active Air * NHSO

110% of what I paid, Ronnie!

In your case, the Red Baron special should command 120%...at least!

I agree that resale of late model DS’s are at a premium, But I’m having a problem with the math of 110%. This is why the 2020 DS had a price increase of approximately 4% over 19’s. Why would someone pay 110% for a 19 when they can get a 20 at a better deal?

Are there more 18’s being traded up for 20’s? Living in California where sales tax is 7.5 to 10% not so much. California charges full price sales tax every time. The high resale values coupled with Newmar’s consistent year after year price increases in states where only the difference in price sales tax is charged would make it very tempting

Not sure whether the perceived 2018 Newmar turnover rate is real or imagined, but we are quite happy with our 2018 Mountain Aire and have no thoughts going to a 2020. We figure "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

MAN, GUYS...really? You mean my humor wasn’t obvious enough? LOL

I was, tongue-in-cheek, trying to artificially inflate the value of my coach...hence why I “specifically” said ones like mine were super rare.

Guess my subtle humor needs even more edge. ;-)

You do realize that a mod removed my post "over there" because my humor was not followed by an EMOJI. Yes, seriously! So you should feel really honored here haha.

But I thought because your coach took better pictures than mine then the value was justified.
