It is my understanding that the Battery Isolator will Bridge the House and Chassis batteries "as needed". It appears that with the EMS, Energy Management System, activated the Bridged indicator remains ON? Is this normal with a BIM?

Additionally when traveling with front House AC cooling, the House battery depletes rather rapidly. A 3hr travel leg will use over 50% of the three large Li Ion House Battery charge? Why doesn't the alternator pickup this draw?

I am sure the alternator is contributing….but not enough to cover all of the draw. I have 1440w of solar and even on the sunniest days, with the alternator contributing about 85 amps (1000 watts or so), the batteries will discharge. Do you have a shunt that could tell you what is being drawn from the batteries? This is where I can see the engine adding about 1000 watts…the solar adds another 1000 or so…

And the LIBim should attach every 20 minutes or so, for about 20 minutes. I think my LiBim tends to get “stuck” sometimes as the house and chassis batteries show the same voltage, which makes me wonder if they are linked longer than necessary as the odds of them having the same voltage should be rare…especially since my house batteries are lithium and my chassis is lead acid…
