Have a 2021 Chase with a #1 battery , lithium, that doesn’t want to reset. Any experience with this out there? I read one solution is to disconnect the battery for 10 minutes then reconnect, will try that next

Some batteries have a reset sw. Others don't.

I set a friend up with what I called a jump switch. It simply put 12v to the leads. It was used when the voltage dropped below the low voltage point and the BMS shut the battery down. This allowed the voltage to go above the set point and reconnect the cells.

Over voltage will automatically re connect when voltage is removed, if the charger was set to high.

When the short detection (overload) is detected that is also automatically reset unless a predefined number of cycles is reached. I assume the above jump switch would reset the BMS.

The only other problem may be a faulty BMS.

So 12v from another battery or charger to the leads on the battery in question? Lithium battery has three connections, two red one black, how did you deal with that

Let's correct that statement. YOUR lithium battery has three wires! Just re-reading this! Many/most lifepo4 batteries don't have 3 wires. The battery manufacturer should have data sheets avaliable for download. Due to the fact yours has three, you should familiarize yourself with the data sheet.

My assumption is one wire is charge one discharge, and of course ground. That is a guess!!! I would only deal with the 3 wires after I studied the manual!!!
