So, what brand and size does everyone recommend. I guess I'll ditch the current ones before I die a flaming death.

Have 2 100aH. Figure I'd look for a single 300aH if a good one exist.

I watched a lot of reviews on batteries before I purchased mine. This you-tuber is good. I like the reviews where they pull stuff apart. It keeps the manufactures on their toes. I found several things in my new RV right from the factory that were scary and dangerous. All is good now. Always a good idea to pull everything apart you can in a new or used purchase, and do your due diligence.
If you are handy and take your time, you can do a better job than most of the "professionals" out there. You just don't' know who the business is hiring or contracting to do the work.
Be safe!

Oh boy...

To be fair. The BMS is the safety for lithium batteries. Also the fire isn't as big as it would have been if he had charged it up before testing. Regulations say no more than 50%charge for legal shipping.

Sometimes I think that guy has some kind of desire to get famous off BB issues.
I think "that guy" found a serious issue. Pointed it out to save others and Battle Born tried to lie their way out of it. When that did not work, Battle Born doubled down and tried to scare him with a lawsuit.
Battle Born should have left it alone and fixed the issues but they chose to create a bigger problem. So he continues testing every new claim they make and Battle Born is sinking deeper into bk.
Perhaps if BB had not changed their specs and claims or filed a lawsuit Will would not have to re-test and prove them wrong.
He is simply defending his findings. He is not alone, some electrical engineers have done testing and backed his findings.

This one is interesting. It's not just Will Prowse:
