Your efforts to make others aware is commendable. I thought your videos were spot on in what needs to happen to effect change.
New buyers generally aren't aware and those of us with at least a couple of years of ownership under our belts are aware RV manufacturers have no industry standards or quality oversight body. We all know this is not a good thing and it becomes apparent in most instances only after a significant investment by the consumer.
This industry begs for some regulation, an oversight body which would develop manufacturing standards and insist functional quality control and assurance measures are implemented and observed with periodic reviews by that body. The foot in that industry door begins with addressing safety issues.
An awning spontaneously deploying while traveling 60 mph down the road, passenger doors improperly closing or flying open while traveling, instances of these types we all know about which are too numerous to list here.
Perhaps someone with your talents might consider producing a number of expose`s regarding issues seen industry-wide amongst all RV manufacturers. Would be a great "60 Minutes" 3-part series.
I feel like their complaints are really with the dealerships who don’t know how to repair these beasts. I am quite sure when they go back to the mothership, they would be a lot happier.
Also, it is too bad, but the first year with anything under 1 million dollars, where they have 20 people going over the coach with a fine tooth comb, is frustrating, to say the least.
Then one starts Dow our wonderful interstates. Bang, boom, bum pity bump bump.
My refrigerator door completely fell off n the road today. Hopefully, this is the end of this, on this unit.
