I don’t think reservations are going to be a problem this year. It seems everyone is selling their RV! Can’t believe all the listings I’m seeing.

We have friends that built houses and put their RV’s up for sale.

One has been available for almost a year and the other probably 6 months.

Neither has had a nibble.

Market is saturated with things for sale I think.

Not only do I have 3 big trips planned for this year, the price on oil is dropping big time!

We have our 3 month trip planned for this year, although we're not leaving till August, and have 90% of our stops reserved. We also have a "tune up" 4 day trip scheduled for early May. Can't wait to hit the road again.

I have a week booked in MN for Oct, my daughter is getting married out there. We'll spend a month on the trip. We just did this trip last summer but oh well.

Reservations for Canadian RV parks is up primarily because Canadians are not traveling to the US

Prior to going full time, DW and I agreed that if one wants out we quit. Well unfortunately for me DW wants out. We'll be looking for a stick and bricks in CO this summer. If we find a place we're going to sell. We have the funds to keep the rig but I don't want to deal with the issues of keeping one for the lack of use I foresee. I'd rather use the money towards a winter spot in Brownsville or Yuma for the winter months.

Wishing you well in your new life style. We have the same agreement. One wants to quite... no argument. Thank goodness we aren't there yet.

We only pass this way once through life.
I asked many who had traveled down its roads and were pulled into their last spot.....
What do you regret, if anything, in your travels?
They almost all replied, "The trips I didn't take."
As an old fart now myself...... "I go, how far and how fast, varies, but I go."

We booked 2 nights in two RV parks on the fly from SoCal during our 7 day journey to Birch Bay and had no problem getting a site, although, a couple of our usual free overnight spots along the way were closed so we had to improvise. Also while driving north, DW booked a couple of parks for part our 6 week venture into south east BC without any problem. If anything, it's the free overnight spots that are getting harder to find.

The only cracker barrels on the west coast in the areas we travel that I knew of were in Oregon but they never, ever had overnight parking. I think it's been about 2 years since all 5 locations closed.

Sad!! Whenever we’re enroute, we stay at them. Great dinner &/or breakfast
