Carson City, NV

I'll be going to Carson City, NV for some flight training in a couple/few months for a few weeks. I'll be driving my motorhome out there. So, does anyone have any suggestions for a campground or RV park?

Hello @malexander. I personally use either Allstays | Campgrounds | RV Parks or RV Trip Wizard - RV Trip Planner & RV Safe Routes to find campgrounds. You may want to look at those either on your PC or phone/tablet. Great tools to use.

I live about 15 miles south of Carson and currently in mexico so i dont have actual campground names with me. In a couple months you wont have any problems finding a campground. It will just depend on where you want to be. North of town within veiw of hwy 395 at the gold dust casino is a campground that is very close to the airport. On the south end of town is a large campground with all the amenities and close to alot of stores and restaurants. I recommend just show up in town and check out the parks. Carson is a really easy town to get around in even in a motorhome. Myself i would stay about 20 minutes south in minden at the carson valley inn/ casino campground. Really nice park within walking distance of downtown minden and a great steak house in the casino. Must try one of the locale Basque restaurants
