This looks good, Neal, but the license plate suggests Ryker’s just “chilling” while someone else does the driving. The problem? Ryker’s an alpha dog, he wants to be the one behind the wheel.

Unfortunately, his driving skills are... let’s just say, less than alpha. He’s failed every single driving test, five attempts and counting. Honestly, I don’t see his skills improving anytime soon.

While I love the concept, it doesn’t exactly line up with the reality of Ryker’s situation.

The golf cart is as cool as they come! It’s street legal, though I wouldn’t dare take it on the highway. However, it connects to Bluetooth CarPlay, so I get GPS, playlists, and all the bells and whistles that come with the app.

The display proudly shows the degree of charge, speed, direction, and more. It even has two governor settings: one topping out at 15 mph and another at 25 mph. No keys are needed, just a credit card-sized smart card to turn it on or off. And when you stop, the cart automatically locks itself, so there’s no risk of it rolling forward or backward.

The lighting setup is impressive, with multiple settings and even a lightbar that’s surprisingly bright. And fast charging? Yes, please!

But here’s the question: now that I have a golf cart, what do I do with it? After amusing myself making multiple trips to the dumpster with laughably small amounts of trash, I upgraded the mission by buying this awesome little Hobie Mirage Compass Duo. Given the river is right behind my lot, this seems like a perfect addition.

I connected the kayak to the back brace of the cart and haul it down to the river. I hope to try it tomorrow as today’s cold snap wasn’t exactly prime kayaking weather.

Being in Florida this time of year is a bit of a rollercoaster. Over the past five days, I’ve had the heater on two nights, the air conditioner on two nights, and tonight? The heater is standing by again. Gotta love that Sunshine State “winter.”

Yeah, but I buy cool stuff, like RV lots in Florida, Kayak's and Golf Carts. Neal on the other hand, buys computers, monitors and an occasional thermal printer.
