Question Condition of I 10 from Florida to Beaumont TX

As we have to make the trip to Beaumont this year heading west on I 10 from Fl., I was wondering just how bad the road surface is. I've heard it's brutal there in some sections as far as pot holes and other road hazards. Anyone travel down that stretch lately?

Let's just say, after pulling our 5th wheel the last time we drove I10 through Lousanna

We drove I-10 Houston to Ft Lauderdale last October. Going east wasn't bad.
