Just learned a new trick.
Our POS Norcold fridge would not ‘fire’ up and after checking all, I decided to check the fuse.
Pulled it, looked good so replaced it. Voila!!! It now works.
Saved our 2 week trip!!

What i believe I did was reset the control board.

Additional info:
I just returned from a 2 week trip, and the Norcold would not start.
My 'trick' failed me this time. After piddling & fiddling for over a day, I switched to "Gas" (propane).
Still no go, and heard no piezo clicks.
I took my lighter stick and tried to light the flame.
Voila!! Heard the slight 'hiss' of flame. Returned to inside, and the light was finally solid.
After a few hours, the fridge was cold and the freezer icy!
Many days passed with 70+ mph, strong winds, semi's passing with their wind gusts and swirling tail winds, and driving rains---the light stayed solid and never quit until I turned it off 13 days later at home.

Not sure what my next step will be, but if manually lighting the gas once/trip works, I'm tempted to just go that route.

Check the pilot light chimney. Scale from the chimney walls will flake off and drop to the bottom inhibiting pilot light ignition. Use compressed air or a vacuum to clean.

I keep hoping @Neal Will put a thumbs down on the forum.

to me one light per trip means "UNSAFE AT THE PUMP !" I hope I misinterpreted your post.

FWIW, the fridge is on the passenger's side and the gas fill is on the driver's side!

Yup! Tell that to patty's propane in Quartzsite.

Yes! In the past 2 months.

Not the only case I can verify, but then I'm just a kid.

Then tell me what everyone else (not you) that runs their fridge on propane do when they gas up?

I shut down everything when I gas up and when I get Propane including Generator, Fridge, Water heater and the water pump. My life is a lot more valuable than having a stray spark, let alone an open flame, any where near where there are flammable vapors. Sorry, but I hope I never meet you at a service station.

A pilot light on a propane fridge at a gas station is like playing Russian roulette! A game I'm not willing to play. Our propane fridge and water heater are always turned off before driving and not turned on again until we've reached our destination. Our lives are worth more than spoiled milk.
