Travel time is upon us, isn't anybody going, doing anything?????????
Am I the only person lucky enough to actually USE their RV?

OK, since posting here seems a little neglected, I will HOPEFULLY get things rolling, would love to hear of your plans coming up ot where you actually are, or went....

Trip number #4 is fast approaching, leaving next weekend to go up and over the Cascades to this little lake my wife and I enjoy.
This will be a few weeks later that when we normally go, which is right after opening day trout season....we opt to arrive on Sunday as everyone who works is leaving :)
It can be cold, but the fishing is good, and these trout caught out of this cold just iced out water taste wonderful....
We truly leave them biting as we can only eat so much.
Its not much on accommodations, back in on asphalt that is slanted almost as much as the talk coming out of the media and politicians... water and electric, no sewer, and tight, you can hear the next over RV occupant snoring matter of fact..... :)
It's called Alta Lake.

A few pictures.

note: I guess you need to click on the link to the last picture as it must be too big to load, its a panorama

At the mother ship, then camping nearby, then bourbon tour on the way home

Nice fish!! Bet they are tasty!! Where is Lake Alta? For sure North of where I'm at!

Taking some time off, we were on the road for 6 months, 2 months this past fall out west, then just back from 4 months in florida, good lookin trout

We are headed out on the first. Going to the NKK International rally then some road adventures. Will be on in the coach about 2 months this trip.

We used to be able to catch trout like that out of the bow river in Alberta when I was a kid. Not so much any more.

Our winter trip will start in September this year. Heading east from Calgary to take in The Blue Ridge Parkway. Kentucky and Tennessee for some Bourbon tasting. A bit of a stay on Dauphin Island in Alabama then on to New Orleans for Mardi Gras where Daughter #1 and Grandchildren will join us. Then a slow mosey on back to Canada arriving mid April. Meanwhile, We are doing some landscaping for daughter #1 (we use her address for our home base) and short trips around Alberta. Then off the Vancouver to visit daughter #2.

Oh no. Ina hotel, waiting for it to come out of paint. Was in the kitchen most of Tues.
