Hell yes I didn't buy a self contained rv to use strange facilities. Also have a washer dryer. I will say the only thing I miss about being home is being able to step off my patio and take a leak. They frown on that here at the resort.

We always use our 2 toilets

So far almost everyone does use their RV, any who do not? Please explain why.

Even after I signed the papers, I didn’t consider it mine until I’d christened it.

I’ve asked others at different parks the same thing. Most common answers were for showers, water wouldn’t get hot enough in their unit or the grey tank was too small. Also sometimes when the unit is over-occupied. Never heard of someone having a toilet in their unit and not using it for all of its intended purposes.

I see two kinds of campers out there, first group are folks that seem dedicated to preserving the pristine nature of their coach with all factory accoutrements (pillows/ coverings/ rugs etc.) put away till the coach is sold. then there are my kind of folks, the drive it like you stole it and use the heck out of it types.

I'm not opposed to using public facilities if convenient, especially after a chili and beer night. All in the spirit of maintaining a harmonious environment in the coach.

We use our RV toilets for the purpose the were designed for. Whatever comes out of our bodies goes into the dumper, along with Scotts RV butt wipe. Never an issue with toilets or tanks.

On the opposite side are the folks that not only won't put hardly anything down their systems but certainly won't put toilet paper in there, I can't imagine placing soiled toilet paper into a container inside my RV but different stokes for different folks. I personally feel it is more sanitary to use my own bathroom rather than any public facility, but that's just me.
