We have a Artic Fox 2002 1150 slide in camper. Getting ready to head out on our next trip, 2000 + miles each way out to upstate Michigan from the northwest coast.
Not so fast, went out to do a little prep work on the camper as we are taking off on the 22nd. Looks like we blew a main fuse as we have no 12volt or 110 power. To top that I went to manually crank the slide out so I can get to the power inverter (it's trapped under the step up to the bed) it won't go out as the instuctions say.
"Turn the 5/8 inch nut on the bottom of the motor 3 turns clockwise to unlock the brake then turn the 5/8 inch nut at the top of the motor clockwise or counterclockwise to go in or out. The brake seems to be locked on, I can't get the top nut to turn at all
Does any one have a camper old enough that you would have the same slide motor as ours and you might know how to manually crank out the slide?
