I'm not pulling the windows out. I just have a couple areas where I need to remove the existing sealant and redo it.

I can't help you. Never seen a short cut with good results.

I was under the impression you never use silicone on an RV. non sag lap sealant?
I have used "exterior" silicone for years. Black, white and clear. It's just a bitch to remove when it needs to be redone. Anybody know of an easy way to remove it?

PROflexRV

This used to be $10.00. It does work well and you can paint it.

I that there was non sag and self leveling lap sealant ?
Huh? Lap sealant is for roof seams, bolts and penetrations. I answered your question for what is actually used, after installing with butyl tape. Many manufacturers add clear silicone around the upper perimeters
